In 1971, in a Minnesota home, a small company named Dynequip was born. Founded by Vince Anderson and his two partners, it started as a humble endeavor with a vision to provide innovative solutions in the material handling industry. Little did they know that their dedication and passion would lay the foundation for a company that would thrive for decades.
Over the years, Dynequip embarked on a journey of growth and transformation. The company moved locations within St. Paul, before finally settling in its current home at 1983 Sloan Place in Maplewood, just off Interstate 35E and Roselawn Avenue. This relocation marked a significant milestone in Dynequip’s history, providing the company with a strong and stable base to serve its customers.
Vince Anderson, one of the original founders, remained at the helm until 1992 when he bought out his partners, becoming the sole owner of Dynequip. His leadership and dedication were the driving forces behind the company’s success until his retirement in 2014. It was a momentous year for Dynequip as Eric Anderson, who had joined the company in 1999 with a wealth of industry experience, took over as the new owner.
Under Eric’s leadership, Dynequip continued to flourish. In 2018, he invited Larry W. and Dean into a three-way partnership, strengthening the company’s expertise and reach in the material handling industry.
Dean Schell, with 31 years of experience in material handling, joined Dynequip in 2013 and became part owner in 2018. His journey began at GEA, where he worked on sanitary USDA/FDA equipment, and he later served as a project manager/engineer at Nol-Tec for 14 years. Dean’s territory covers Southern Wisconsin, where he leverages his extensive knowledge to serve customers effectively.
Larry Wamstad, another seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience, also joined Dynequip in 2013 and became part owner in 2018. His background includes working with companies like Dynamic Air, Tecweigh, and Nol-Tec Systems. His experience makes him the go-to expert on all things pneumatic conveying. Larry’s territory consists of Southern Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa.
John Luciw, with an impressive career spanning over 33 years, joined Dynequip in 2012. His experience includes working for Air Cure and 15 years in the packaging industry at Thiele. John’s expertise covers Northern Minnesota and North Dakota, where he continues to provide top-notch solutions to clients.
Larry Barlow, who started in the material handling industry in 1985, joined Dynequip in 2017. With 38 years of experience, including 22 years at Nol-Tec Systems, Larry is the resident expert on mechanical conveying and is particularly knowledgeable about Flex-Augers. His territory extends to Northern Wisconsin and beyond the Midwest.
Jenna Sveiven, the newest addition to the Dynequip team, brought a unique perspective to the company. With a background in environmental biology and experience in fisheries, Jenna started in marketing and quickly transitioned into a role as a Sales Extraordinaire. She supports the other salesmen and provides valuable assistance with project inquiries when needed.
Zach Furlong, Dynequip’s SolidWorks CAD Designer, joined the team in 2019. His skills and expertise in design have been instrumental in bringing innovative solutions to life for Dynequip’s customers.
Finally, Kim Nogosek, who has been with Dynequip for over a decade, manages the company’s Accounting and Administration department. Her dedication ensures that the company runs smoothly behind the scenes.
As Dynequip continues to evolve, one thing remains constant – the commitment to providing cutting-edge material handling solutions and unparalleled expertise to their valued customers. With a rich history and a team of experienced professionals, Dynequip is poised to continue its legacy of innovation well into the future.
